12x lens is suitable for any springtail and isopods up to about Porcellio laevis size. 24x lens is suitable for even the smallest of springtails in hobbyist culture. The focal-length dome can be popped off, allowing you to get the lens closer to your subjects.

Love it, i used these to snap some videos of my Yuuki oranges. Great little tool for cheap macro shots and was shipped quickly without issues.
