
This springtail is tiny but they boast wonderful bright white spots on a black background that makes them stand out. I recommend starting them in a small culture container until populations increase.

Sminthurinus quadrimaculatus are tiny and reproduce at a moderate rate so are not an effective standalone cleanup crew though they can be coupled with other springtails like Lepidocyrtus in moderate humidity enclosures.
