Porcellio scaber is an excellent choice for beginner keepers and bioactive enclosures. They tolerate a range of environments and come in more color morphs than any other isopod. Lava is a favorite morph of many, presenting with deep red patches on a gray base on many individuals.

I ordered on Sunday, my little guys were shipped Tuesday, and they arrived Friday. They were packaged amazingly well. Everyone was packed securely, with a heating pack, cold packs, and an environment sustaining back. There was paper and styrofoam to keep everyone safe and secure. Amazing customer service, as well! Ryne was quick to answer any questions I had. I will definitely be ordering again.
